One of the many delights at the Fibre Festival was meeting Lisa Call at the beautiful Blue Stone Fine Art Gallery
Lisa (second from left) is holding her solo exhibition Relationships – Connection and Barriers at the Gallery until April 14. Lisa's contemplation of life and the way we connect through textile painting is one of the best exhibitions we visited - and there were many on the SAQA/SDA touring day. Thanks to Lisa for so many thought provoking works and her generosity of spirit in talking about the works and her techniques - matched only by the gallery staff whose helpfulness was boundless. One of those great times in life when being in a particular place "felt right" from Lisa's Lines series. In fact, it felt so right that here we are with our purchases - beautiful mounted pieces Thanks again for a great gallery visit.
